Promotion terms
The rules that apply to any Webway promotion — trial credit, promo codes, referrals and discounts — alongside the specific terms shown with each one.

From time to time we run promotions: starter credit for a new account, a promo code, a referral bonus, or a discount on a model for a period. When we do, the specific terms — what you get, what you have to do, and when it ends — are shown with the offer itself.
This page is what applies to all of them, and it is part of the Terms of Service. Where a specific offer says something different, the specific offer wins.
Promotional credit
- Promotional credit is credit for using the gateway. It is not money: it has no cash value, it cannot be refunded under the refunds policy, and it cannot be withdrawn, sold or transferred to another account.
- It is spent before credit you paid for, so a balance made of both draws the free part down first.
- It can expire. Where it does, the expiry is stated with the offer and shown against the balance. Expired credit is removed from the balance and is not reinstated.
- It cannot be used to satisfy a chargeback, an outstanding balance, or a liability you owe us.
Eligibility
- One promotion per person, per account and per payment method, unless the offer says otherwise. Multiple workspaces run by the same person count as one.
- Offers are for new accounts unless stated. An account that has held credit before is not a new account.
- Offers cannot be combined with each other unless the offer says they can.
- Where an offer requires a payment method on file, adding one is not a purchase and does not itself charge anything.
- Employees, contractors and their households are excluded from referral offers.
Referrals
Where a referral offer is running: the reward is credited once the person you referred has an account in good standing and has met whatever the offer sets as the trigger. Self-referral, referral rings, and accounts created to farm the reward earn nothing, and put both accounts at risk of closure.
Discounts and promotional pricing
A discounted price applies for the period stated and to the models stated. Requests served outside that period, or against another model, are billed at the standard price on the model's page. A price already drawn from your balance is not re-priced when a promotion starts or ends.
Changing or ending an offer
We can change, suspend or withdraw a promotion at any time, and we can decline or reverse a promotional benefit where we reasonably believe the offer has been abused, misrepresented, or obtained through fraud, automation or duplicate accounts.
Withdrawing an offer does not remove promotional credit already granted and still within its expiry, unless it was obtained in one of the ways above.
Tax and law
Any tax arising from a promotional benefit is yours. Offers are void where prohibited, and are not open to anyone the legal and export restrictions exclude.
